Welcome to the Canyon Lake Animal Shelter, where finding your new furry friend is as easy as a walk in the dog park! 

Here's our adoption process, guaranteed to get your tail wagging:

Just like filling out a dating profile, but instead of listing your favorite movies, you'll be telling us about your living situation and what you're looking for in a pet. 

Fill out now or print the downloadable version at the bottom of this page and bring it with you when you visit CLASS.

Time to hit the kennels and/or cattery to meet your potential match! It's like speed dating, but with dogs and cats. Don't be surprised if you end up falling in love at first purr or tail wag. 

Sit down with one of our staff members to chat about your ideal companion and your lifestyle. Think of it as a matchmaking session, but with more wagging tails and fewer awkward silences. 

Spend at least 20 minutes getting to know your potential new fur baby. Got a canine companion at home already? Bring them along for a sniff-and-greet session to see if they hit it off. Just remember, no running off to the office until you've checked in with a staff member. 

Once you're approved for adoption, it's time to fill out the adoption forms and whisk your new family member off to their forever home! Get ready for cuddles, kisses, and endless tail wags. 

Rest assured, all pets adopted from CLASS come fully equipped with spaying/neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchipping for easy identification in case they decide to go on a solo adventure. Plus, our doggos are already armed with heartworm medication!
